**Go HERE until Sunday night for a chance to win a Tervis Tumbler**
I made a comment on Molly's blog yesterday that inspired this post. She had an amazing post about blogging! Go read it - it is worth your time!
The other night, I was sitting in my recliner doing my nightly reading/writing blogs and I made a comment to my husband about "only one follower". He said, "Lindsey - that's one PERSON. One person that found you interesting enough to follow you." That really made me think of you ladies who read and comment on my blog every.single.day. THANK YOU for finding me interesting enough to take the time out of your busy schedules to read about my life and thoughts. I appreciate you all!
I also had an idea while reading Kelly's Korner yesterday. She had quite a few prayer requests for different families - some she knows, some she doesn't. Kelly has people sending her prayer requests constanty, so I am sure it becomes overwhelming. I used to tell people that I would pray for them and then forget. If I tell you now, know that I DO pray for you - because I do it that very minute. If I tell someone I will pray for them, I stop what I'm doing, even before I send the message, and say a quick prayer.
During the Christmas season Courtney from Women Living Well said that her family takes the Christmas cards they receive and puts them in a basket. Each night, they pull a few cards out and pray for that family. So I am going to take Kelly's prayer requests, along with any you may have, and use Courtney's idea. I printed off Kelly's prayer request list and I want to put each one in a bowl and have Michael, McKayla, and I each draw one out before dinner and pray for that person/family/situation when we are saying our blessing.
If any of you have a prayer request, e-mail me (email@example.com), leave me a comment in this or any future post, or tweet me (@Mr_and_MrsSmith) and I'll add it to our little prayer bowl.
I pray that you all have a happy and safe weekend. I feel so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful community of bloggers!
